Ten Reasons to Join Youth Ministry
by the Youth Advisory Board
- To learn our faith in a comfortable environment,
- To participate with other peers in the area, country and around the world in fun trips, such as NCYC ,World Youth Day, and Diocesan Youth Events,
- To participate in retreats,
- To help those in need by raking leaves, making care packages to be taken to other countries, delivering holiday parish gifts, and more,
- To join the parish in church ministries and activities, such as Faith First, Festa, Trash & Treasure, Food bank, and more,
- To share our faith with others in such things as Praying the Stations of the Cross with residents of Belair Nursing Home, through spiritual musicals/dramas, penance services, and more,
- To participate in fun activities, such as the annual youth picnic, movie nights, trips to Seven Springs, Boyce Park, and Sand Castle,
- To participate in week-long service with other peers and collegians in Peace Camp and Work Camps,
- To participate in Liturgical Ministries, such as altar servers, lectors, choir members, and Eucharistic ministers,
- To develop your leadership abilities through service on Youth Ministry Advisory Board, and planning youth ministry events.
